My work explores personal and cultural history and the internal and external landscapes that shape our identity as individuals and as a nation. I investigate the psychology of grief and the healing process, altered states of perception, and how our senses process information.
My language embraces a balance of extremes, be it the contrast of the personal with the political, the psychological with the physical or the historic with the contemporary. The transient nature of existence and the imprint we leave on this planet is the thread that connects my work, past and present.http://www.eelizabethpeters.com
