BIO
I am a member of the Executive Board of the Webster Art Club and president of the Rochester Area Colored Pencil Club. Shows include several at Barnes and Noble in Pittsford, Webster Village Days, Wayne Arts in Newark, and at the Webster Library as part of these groups. Most recently, I have hung pieces in a show at the 1570 Gallery at Valley Manor, a RACPC show at River’s Run, and at High Falls.
My current teacher is Jean Stephens of Honeoye Falls.

ARTIST"S STATEMENT
My interests for painting lie in the humblest weed or the most exotic flower. Mushrooms, trees, dandelions and winter branches are some of my favorites.
Themes are drawn life size or larger. When using colored pencil, my choice is Prismacolor pencils and either Strathmore Bristol, smooth, for fine detail, or Canson Mi-Tientes with color and texture to establish mood. I use no solvents, but sometimes burnish.
